The longspined sea urchin, Centrostephanus rodgersii, is a climate-driven pest species in south-eastern Australia. harvest of this highly encouraged and Tasmania, the existing fishery expanding resulting large amount waste that needs disposal. Research into use products as inputs for organic or biodynamic farming systems can help reduce costs disposal keep industry profitable; by sustaining incrementing urchin assist their control. In current study, was dried finely ground to powder applied tomato plants greenhouse examine effect on growth productivity. Urchin (UWP) had mineral composition Ca (40 g 100 g−1), Mg (1.7 P (0.03 Fe (19.34 mg kg−1) B (38 kg−1), pH 8.06 water an Electrical Conductivity (EC) value 7.64 dSm−1. Seven different treatment rates UWP (0.3%; 0.5%; 0.8%; 1%; 2%; 3%; 5%), were added 10 replicate pots containing 4 kg nutrient-poor potting mix planted with (Variety K1) seedlings. Plant growth, yield, quality attributes content measured under treatments comparison against Hoagland solution influenced productivity proportional quantity applied, however, control significantly greater yield. Potting increased from 6.8 7 higher available detected receiving UWP. No phytotoxic effects detected. highest matched fruit nutritional composition.
